Fellowships
Through our Fellowships we connect artists and creative practitioners to community spaces, and support the development of collaborative projects over a period of 18 to 24 months. The first fellowship started informally in 2014, with the support of a teacher at the Oriental Seminary School, a government aided school in the historic and diverse Chitpur locality.
Incrementally, over the last 5 years, we were able to build an ecosystem of collaborators and Chitpur, supporting 14 projects with artists from different backgrounds working with students, craftspeople, residents, local organizations, police and government officials in the area. Today the Fellowship hosted by residents and local institutions of Chitpur and its neighbouring areas, bringing us closer to our creating engaged public spaces through the arts.
